About
Hi there, my name is Zhitao (Terence) Pan. I’m currently studying Master of Software Engineering at the Universit of Melbourne. Prior to this, I completed a BEng degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering at University College London in the UK.
I found my interests in programming and computer science in general when I was studying Java in one of my undergraduate subjects. I really enjoy the process of hacking day and night with logics and algorithms to create a working software, and using it to solve real world problems. That’s how I chose the road of becoming an 24-hours non-stop coding monkey.
My current goal is to complete my master’s degree (of course) and to gain as much as experience in the software development industry. On the other hand, I’m really interested in low-level programming and computer architecture and other theoretical computer science stuff. As my degree focuses more on software engineering (as you probably can tell from the degree name), I’m learning on my own on the stuff mentioned above, to feel more entitled to calling myself a computer scientist.
Here on this site, you can find some of my random posts and personal projects about computer science and software engineering. Thanks for dropping by!
